Overview: Double story extension
Location: Gravenhurst
We gave this beautifully situated house a complete facelift to add kerb appeal. On the front elevation we built a steel framed double story structure and constructed a new hand cut roof which cut into the large existing dormer at the front of the house. All of the existing concrete roof tiles, battens and felt were stripped from the roof before reinstalling new breather membrane, battens and slates. The dormers front and back were reclad with composite cladding and the existing external walls and extensions walls rendered with white cement and sand render. A large expanse of glass was installed before installing the large oak A frame and cross beam to conceal the steel frame.
